Bieber unleashes on the paparazzi in Brisbane.

JUSTIN Bieber has made privacy a huge priority over the past few years but it seems like the more the singer yearns for it, the more people obsess over it.

Bieber, who performed in Brisbane last night as part of his Purpose tour, took some much needed downtime at Richard Branson’s luxurious Noosa island Makepeace Island Resort.

After spotting boats around the island, the singer gave them the finger and told them to “f**k off”. The footage was obtained by7News.

Branson’s heart-shaped island accommodates up to 20 guests and costs at least $5,500 a night to hire.

Bieber’s fury comes less than two days after a sour encounter with a fan in Melbourne.

There, 20-year-old fan Sabah Helal started following the singer around the city on the weekend.

When the young fan saw Bieber step out of a car near Crown Casino, she rushed over to him and told him she was going to take a selfie with him.

“He wasn’t in a good mood and was adamant that he wouldn’t take a photo with me,” she told The Herald Sun.

Bieber told Helal: “You’re invading my privacy, I don’t want a photo.”

Helal admitted she knew he wasn’t interested in taking a photo at all but “I told him, I was going to take the photo anyway.”

When she started snapping away, Bieber replied, “Look at you, you make me sick”.

The 23-year-old singer is set to play a sold-out show at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium tomorrow night.

There is however a warning for fans to check their tickets before heading to the show.

Concertgoers who didn’t buy their tickets through “official means” are at risk of being turned away, reports KIIS FM.

The possible turnaway comes after CHOICE Magazine resorted to filing a lawsuit against ticket reselling agencies including Ticketmaster Resale and Viagogo after the publication revealed they’re breaching anti-scalping rules.

Oscars backlash was nothing compared to Miss Universe

Clean-up on aisle Oscar, I repeat clean-up on aisle Oscar please! Oh yeah, that was exactly what Price Waterhouse Cooper was doing last night and this AM after one of the BIGGEST Fails in Oscar History! So, if you haven?t heard yet, La La Land was incorrectly announced by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway for Best Picture when in actuality Moonlight won for best picture! During the tail end of all the heartfelt speeches from the La La Land cast and crew, that?s when it was announced ?Moonlight? was in fact the BIG winner of best picture, NOT LA LA LAND!! And man oh man did the internet just go absolutely freaking insane over this ?Oh Sh*t? moment! The Hollywood Reporter added the Michael Jordan crying face to Gosling and Stone?s characters on the poster for ?La La Land? and stated the obvious: ?Massive Best picture mistakes becomes Internet gold.? Kristie L used this candid shot to say, ?When everything goes to hell #Oscars.? Meryl?s face, I cannot handle it!!!! Miss Universe is now seeing the funny side to Steve Harvey?s epic fail a few years back and tweeted: ?Have your people call our people. We know what to do!? Of course everyone jumped at this opportunity to poke fun at this year?s election and throw shade at POTUS! Family guy creator Seth McFarlane said, ?You know what the problem is ? Millions of Academy members voted illegally. Most nights, I have a dream in which just happened at the #Oscars actually happened on election night.? Yeah, it was brutal and surprisingly @realDonaldTrump hasn?t said A WORD!!!! I hope he?s doing okay, health wise, this is very much unlike him. So now that this has gone down in history, PWC the company in charge of tallying Oscar votes released this statement: ?We sincerely apologize to Moonlight, La La Land, Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for Best Picture, the presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected. We are currently investigating how this could have happened, and deeply regret that this occurred.? So Warren and Faye, you?re clear of all charges for conspiring to make LaLa Land this year?s best picture! Also, we know you were just doing your job, standing there and lookin? pretty! Even past nominees commented on the trainwreck? ?Selma?s? David Oyelowo told USA Today: ?I would not wish that situation on my worst enemy, That was a tough way to find that you lost and a tough way to find out that you won.? This is true, but you know what winning 6 of the 14 awards you were nominated for isn?t a bad way to go out, and let?s be real, the underdog MUST come out victorious from time to time, and that?s exactly what happened last night! What do you think about this epic mix-up, are you pissed La La had it?s golden statue taken away, or ecstatic for Moonlight? Let me know in the comments below!

WHEN actors Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway mistakenly awarded La La Land the Oscar for Best Picture, millions had a flashback to Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe gaffe.

While hosting the 2015 pageant show, Harvey wrongfully awarded Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, the coveted crown — later realising it was actually Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach, who had won.

And the host clearly understood what the two presenters were going through hilariously tweeting at Beatty when the awards finished.

While it was later proved that the PricewaterhouseCoopers accountants were actually at fault for the Oscars mixup, Harvey didn’t have the same luxury.

Calling it “an honest mistake” at the time, Harvey admitted he had read the card wrong.

In an interview with Cigar Aficionado, the host recounted the drastic measures he had to resort to after the 2015 awards.

“I live on a dead-end street — and it got real when things started coming over the gate. Empty boxes with bows and pictures of bombs,” he recalled.

“And these with death threats on social media that would pop up from fake IP addresses. I wound up with 24-hour armed security at my house. I have two armed guards there fulltime to this day.”

Despite it being over a year since the incident, Harvey admitted he has zero plans of heading to Colombia anytime soon.

“In the Philippines, they love me — but I can’t go to Colombia,” he said.

The morning after his mistake, “there was this massive crowd, all around my car outside the hotel — all these Colombians giving me hell. My Twitter and Instagram blew up and I got called every name in the book. I got cussed out in Spanish so bad that I know profanity in Spanish now”, Harvey said.

Despite the major stuff up, he was still allowed to host the awards a year later and thankfully announced the right winner.

The accountants who gave Beatty and Dunaway the wrong envelope for Best Picture weren’t so lucky.

Cheryl Boone Isaacs, president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’, confirmed the PwC accountants Brian Cullinan and Martha Ruiz will never return to the Oscars.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, the actor revealed the hilarious advice Tatum gave him.

“I gained weight for this movie War Dogs, and then I wanted to get in better shape, so I called Channing Tatum, and said, ‘Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?’ And he said, ‘Yes, you dumb motherf**ker, of course you will, it’s the simplest thing in the entire world,’” Hill said.

He famously lost a huge amount of weight in 2011 for his role in Moneyball alongside Brad Pitt citing clean eating and Japanese food as the key.

Speaking to ABC News in 2012, the actor attributed his 18kg weight loss to “just mostly diet”.

“I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something. But it was, unfortunately, I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff. I found that Japanese food was very helpful to me.”

Hill also addressed his weight issues withNew York Magazine in 2011.

“Being healthier came along with maturity,” he told the magazine.

“And it’s hard, because a lot of times people want you to be the guy you were when they met you.”

Hill’s breakout role was in Judd Apatow’s 2007 comedy Superbad which led to the actor being typecast as his character.

Sweet revenge: Dumped radio star gets last laugh

Triple M’s Robin Bailey and One Nation leader Pauline Hanson have ripped into each other over the Senator’s controversial comments on banning the burqa. Audio: Triple M Brisbane?s Marto, Ed & Robin on 104.5 FM

BRISBANE radio host Robin Bailey has had the last laugh after she was controversially dumped by 97.3 FM last year.

The popular host was with the station for 10 years before she was “blindsided” in November when her bosses said her contract would not be renewed.

“I genuinely did not see it coming,” Bailey told news.com.au today.

Not long after being pushed out the door, the radio host signed with opposition station Triple M and joined Greg ‘Marto’ Martin and Ed Kavalee on the breakfast show at the start of 2017.

Today the first radio ratings of the year were released and it couldn’t have gone better for Bailey.

Her old station, 97.3 FM, ended last year as the number one FM breakfast show in Brisbane. Triple M ended the year equal third.

But that’s not the case anymore.

Marto, Ed & Robin grabbed a massive 2.9 per cent extra audience share while 97.3 FM’s Bianca, Terry & Bob dropped 2.0 per cent in today’s results.

Bailey and her co-hosts leapfrogged her old station and the Triple M trio now have the second highest rated FM brekky show in Brisbane with 97.3 FM behind in third place.

It’s a case of sweet revenge for Bailey.

“I think that management made a decision [last year] and look what’s happened,” she said.

“I don’t want to stand here and throw mud at them, I really don’t want to give them that energy. “But I think when you don’t play nicely, things don’t go the way you want them to go. They’ve made their choices and look what’s happened.”

Bailey said she was “positively relieved” when she was told the news today and added that she never took it for granted that listeners would follow her to her new home at Triple M.

“Breakfast radio is very habitual and it’s a big deal for people to change their station. I didn’t for a second assume that I would [bring an audience over] but I got the result today and went, ‘that’s just frickin amazing’.”

Bailey said she’s “humbled” by the dedication of her fans whom she formed a particularly strong bond with in 2014 when her husband of 15 years took his own life after battling depression.

“You gotta understand, what I went through at that station [97.3 FM] with those people … it was so unique,” she said.

“I think because I came back on air after my husband died and because I chose to do the best I could as honestly as I could, that people connected with that, and I guess those people continue to care and some of them have come over to Triple M.

“That’s a bloody privilege and it does humble me every single day, it really does.”
